Feedback, Please

Okay. I've glanced back at some of my blogs, and I need some feedback. Am I too negative? Maybe I'm a negative person. I think that I feel that the most interesting stories are the ones where something semi-chaotic has happened. Am I bringing you all down? Should I try harder to be more upbeat? I don't want someone that I don't know to stumble upon my blog and think, "Wow. What a negative person!" Am I coming across that way? Comments, please. Love you all. Kate

You don't know me... but I was directed here by the one and only, Randy Kerrigan. I'm one of his classmates from aim, and I'm currently on the field in California. To answer your questions... I enjoyed reading your blogs. I like your honesty.. and I feel like I've gotten a little taste into what motherhood will be like =). Randy has told me about your move, and I hope and pray that God blesses everything you do.

I just discovered your blog a couple of days ago and I read every post! You're a good writer and that's why I told Chris I could never have a blog. I'm just not a very eloquent writer. Anyway, I've enjoyed your posts! I hope y'all are getting settled in.

Hi Kate!

Perception is what it is, and I think that your take on life is insightful and real. I think writers (and folks in general, for that matter) should always aim toward authenticity, and I think you do this. And just so you don't know, I think your writing comes across as honest, not negative. Maybe your worrying about it shows that you are more positive than you think. Kiss Cole's sweet face (and healing foot) for me!

Hey...it's "real life" in the big world! I enjoy reading your blog...I'm a brand new blogger myself. My problem is having the time to write.

Love you and hope you're settling in.

Please keep writing - it allows all the people who love and miss you have a small window into your new life. Life isn't always, as I like to call it, "Leave It To Beaver" perfect. Wait do you even remember Leave It to Beaver? Life is watching your children grow up, seeing them change daily, and wanting to protect them even if one of them is 6'2". Life is the good and the bad. Sometimes life is smiling when you really want to cry. Just remember you have a lot of people who love you. Kiss my "grandson" for me and tell Gil I said hello.

Hey Sis, I absolutely loved hearing about your adventures to Target! Interestingly it reminds me of my regular trips to Wal-mart in Downtown B-ham. Quite amusing. I just wish I could have been there to share your excitement! And about the Tire Lube outside Cole's window, think positively, at least he'll be very familiar with environmental print haha. Too bad it's not something more educational. I love you and miss you all. Hopefully I will be able to come for Thanksgiving. Kisses to Cole!
